Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Waste Rescuers (Company No: 16260822), a UK-registered waste removal business. By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Our Services

Waste Rescuers provides the following services:

• Household and commercial waste removal
• Rubbish and junk clearance
• Man and van services
• Mattress, furniture, and appliance removal
• Garden waste removal
• House and office clearances

All services are subject to availability and our discretion to refuse service.

3. Bookings

Booking Process:

• Bookings can be made online, by phone, email, or WhatsApp
• A booking is confirmed only when we send a confirmation message
• You must provide accurate information including address, postcode, and item details
• Arrival times are estimates and may vary due to traffic or prior jobs

Customer Responsibilities:

• Ensure items are accessible at the agreed time
• Provide accurate descriptions of waste to be collected
• Ensure someone is available at the property (if required)
• Provide safe access for our vehicle and staff

4. Payment

Pricing:

• Prices are as stated on our Pricing page
• Quotes provided over phone/email are valid for 7 days
• Final price may vary if actual waste exceeds the booked load size
• All prices are in GBP and inclusive of standard disposal fees

Payment Methods:

• Cash (on completion)
• Card payment (on completion)
• Bank transfer (within 3 days of service)
• No deposit is required for standard bookings

5. Cancellation

Customer Cancellation:

• More than 24 hours notice: Free cancellation
• 12-24 hours notice: No charge (subject to discretion)
• Less than 12 hours notice: £30 cancellation fee may apply
• No show: 50% of quoted price charged

Our Cancellation:

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to: severe weather, vehicle breakdown, staff unavailability, or unsafe site conditions. We will provide as much notice as possible and offer alternative slots.

6. Restricted Items

We cannot collect the following items:

• Asbestos and asbestos-containing materials
• Hazardous chemicals, solvents, and oils
• Full paint cans (empty cans accepted)
• Gas bottles and pressurized containers
• Clinical, medical, or biological waste
• Radioactive materials
• Explosives or ammunition

Items with extra charges: Tyres, fridges/freezers (with refrigerant), and large electrical appliances may incur additional disposal fees. We will inform you of any additional costs before proceeding.

7. Liability

Our Liability:

We are fully insured and accept liability for:

• Damage to your property caused by our negligence
• Injuries caused by our staff (during service)
• Loss of items entrusted to us (excluding waste being removed)

Limitations:

We are not liable for:

• Delays due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances
• Pre-existing damage to property or items
• Loss of items mistakenly disposed of with waste
• Damage from access issues you did not disclose

Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any single claim is limited to £1,000 or the value of the service booked, whichever is lower.

8. Site Access

You confirm that:

• You have the legal right to dispose of all items collected
• You have permission for our vehicle to access the property
• The collection address is safe for our staff to enter
• Any access permits or parking arrangements have been made by you

9. Complaints

We aim to provide excellent service every time. If you're not satisfied:

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Waste Rescuers is registered with the UK Environment Agency as an Upper Tier Carrier (License: CBDU571009) and operates in compliance with all UK waste management regulations including:

• Environmental Protection Act 1990
• Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011
• Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005
